Alexandre Billard, 31, has been appointed Sales Manager France for AUTOMOTOR. Its mission is to accelerate the development of the AF brand within the French market.
Alexandre Billard joined AUTOMOTOR on November 3, 2020 as Sales Manager France. Aged 31, Alexandre has spent his entire professional career in the automotive industry. After a first experience of 2 years in measurement technologies for vehicle development, in 2012 he joined automotive equipment where he successively held the positions of Sales, then Sales Manager and finally Deputy Sales Director.
Alexandre therefore takes charge of the commercial policy and operational support of AF brand distributors in France. With more than 5,000 references available, particularly in the shock absorbers, cables, braking, thermostats, EGR valves, filters and distribution kits with integrated water pumps, the AF brand covers on average more than 90% of the fleet circulating in Europe.
In his new role, Alexandre Billard reports directly to Sylvain Abergel, Sales, Marketing and Purchasing Director of AUTOMOTOR.
To meet the specific needs of the French market, AUTOMOTOR relies on an efficient and proven logistics plan. From the central warehouse in Rosny-Sur-Seine, the AF ranges are shipped to regional partner platforms which deliver to local distributors once or twice a day. These distributors provide local service by delivering their own H + 1 repairers several times a day.
“Present in more than 50 countries, our AF brand meets the needs of French repairers looking for excellent value for money. The economic uncertainty linked to the health crisis makes this positioning more attractive than ever. Alexandre’s expertise, his in-depth knowledge of the needs of the market and of the distribution professions will enable us to accelerate our growth in France“, said Sylvain Abergel, Sales, Marketing and Purchasing Director of AUTOMOTOR.
The difficult economic context for most distributors in no way affects the results or the ambitions of AUTOMOTOR, which strengthens its teams and achieved “in October 2020 the highest monthly turnover in the history of the company” , emphasizes Sylvain Abergel.
